I think what Gray said was terrible, but I do not entirely agree with him loosing his job. The action seems pretty drastic, and whatever did happen to freedom of speech? Dont get me wrong, what he said was wrong and if it were said to me I'd have given him a piece of my mind, but losing his job after saying something to someone else intended private, worries me a little.
This brings in a recent letter I read in a magazine where someone asks the law on whether it is acceptable to look at a potential employee on Facebook. - No it is not illegal, but if you were to base whether the applicant was not suitable for the job on something you found on the page, that would be. I heard that Universities also look at your profile if you apply - lets just say ive been monitoring my status updates! Looks like we have all got to be careful what we say!
Would love to know what you think?!
